Abstract Global Wallet (AGW) is a named wallet. This is a tech page, not an operator page and not a casino. Ship it next to Immutable Passport so the two constructions do not blend.
What it is
Abstract’s cross-application smart contract wallet, powered by native account abstraction. Login is email, social, passkey, or an existing wallet. The account users transact from is the smart contract wallet, not a raw EOA.
Key management, from first-party docs: an EOA is created under the hood via Privy Embedded Wallets. The private key is split into three shards with Shamir’s Secret Sharing. 2 of 3 reconstructs the key.
- Device share — on the user’s device (browser: local storage of the Privy iframe).
- Auth share — encrypted on Privy’s servers; retrieved on the original login method.
- Recovery share — user-chosen backup (typically Google Drive or iCloud).
Typical reconstruct: Device + Auth. Device + Recovery if Privy or login is gone. Auth + Recovery to mint a new device share.
That EOA is then an approved signer on the deployed smart contract wallet (modified Clave fork, secp256k1 signer for Privy, plus passkey/P256 modules, paymasters, session keys).
Social login is the door, not the absence of a key. Do not blend with Passport. Passport is a 2-of-2 co-signer (user key + Immutable guardian). AGW is Shamir-sharded (Privy).
What it does not prove
A wallet is not a licence, not a fairness transcript, and not “the frontend can die and the game remains.” AGW does not make Abstract titles fully onchain. It does not prove a roll. It does not make Igloo a gambling operator.
