Immutable Passport is a named wallet. This is a tech page, not an operator page and not a casino. Ship it next to Abstract Global Wallet so the two constructions do not blend.
What it is
Immutable’s identity and wallet: social or email login, one address across Immutable games, no seed phrase in the UX. Each user has a smart contract wallet on Immutable Chain (mainnet chain ID 13371 on the architecture page this pass; testnet 13473). CREATE2 counterfactual address; the contract deploys on first transaction. Gas sponsorship and pre-approved transactions for linked native-client contracts are product claims on the same docs.
Key management, from first-party docs: Passport wallets are a 2-of-2 multisig. Every transaction needs both keys.
- User Key — stored by Magic. Downloaded to the device. Only the user initiates.
- Guardian Key — stored by Immutable. Co-signs. Rate limits, spending caps, fraud, malicious-game policy.
Immutable’s own sentence: they never have the User Key; they cannot move funds without user action. They are a co-signer for security policies, not a custodian. If the guardian is down, policy-gated play is down. That is the construction.
Do not blend with AGW. AGW is Shamir-sharded (Privy), 2 of 3 shards. Passport is a 2-of-2 co-signer (Magic user key + Immutable guardian). Passport’s own comparison table names Privy as a different embedded-wallet family. Do not collapse those sentences. Social login is the door, not the absence of a key.
What it does not prove
A co-signer is not a licence. Pre-approved transactions are not a fairness transcript. Passport does not make Immutable catalog titles fully onchain. It does not prove a roll. It does not make Immutable a gambling operator. Chain ID 13371 is not a gambling instrument.
